  • Translating sustainable management principles into personal actions and activities with which New Zealanders can identify.

  • Gaining momentum and critical mass which will ensure that econatiohood becomes a reality.

Purpose/Method

econation2020 will keep our vision for New Zealand at the forefront of the nation's mind by developing events and using them to link advocacy and action

  • By facilitating and commissioning artistic works and performances, providing educational content, initiating conferences and events, working with industry, lobbying government, and engaging the media.

  • By taking a key role in co-ordinating initiatives to maximise the impact and effectiveness of event-based initiatives.

  • By developing partnerships to enhance the focus and effectiveness of other groups

  • By enabling the development of a resource library promoting successful implementation and certification programmes from around the globe that can be used to inform and inspire local action.

  • By creating a sense of urgency

  • By providing milestones and publicly celebrating successes.
